Entertainment everywhere in Heeze

Brabantsdag Heeze is a complete experience, with a well-filled programme around the highlight, the largest theatre parade of the year.

From 11.00 hours you can enjoy (street) theatre and music along the route and on the Sfeerpleinen. As soon as the towering theatre parade passes, the programme stops.

Brabantsedag Heeze is the place where culture, music, and theater come together in a vibrant event on a Sunday in August. Starting at 11 AM, Heeze is transformed into a lively cultural hub. The theater parade is, of course, the highlight of the day, but before and after there is plenty to experience in the Pearl of Brabant.

PARADE ROUTE

Before the sixteen impressive parade floats fill the streets of Heeze, the pre-parade already creates a fantastic atmosphere. Along the route, spectators are thoroughly entertained by various acts such as Close Act Theatre with I Puppets, TukkersConnexion Classic Rally Ride, The Italians, The Timecruisers from Abacus Theatre, Luc Vaesen 'The Peddler', and Brigadier Bob Jeroen Engeln. These acts provide excitement and thrill as the audience gathers and prepares for the theater parade.

ATMOSPHERE SQUARES Around the parade area, there is something for everyone on the atmosphere squares:

THEATER TOWN HALL GARDEN

This central square offers a diverse mix of music and theater. From circus arts by Circus Factory to poetic clownery by Arno Huibers and interactive stories by Desiree Hornikx, it is a place where young and old can enjoy a wide range of entertainment. The musical mix of Luc Vaesen, Trio Vrij Vrolijk, La Grange, Blusswerruk, and Wildmen Bluesband makes this square the vibrant heart of Brabantsedag.

THEATER TOVERSNEST

Before the parade, Theater Toversnest promises to be a lively experience with live performances by bands such as Wild Deuces, The Rockin’ Rhythm Cats, and Chicago Capitols. Each with their own unique twist on rockabilly, rock 'n roll, and rhythm and blues, they provide an energetic start to the day.

THEATER STRABRECHT SQUARE

After the parade, Strabrecht Square becomes the meeting place where float builders and the public come together. Here they enjoy the traditional float builders' meal, a well-deserved moment of togetherness after months of hard work on the towering parade floats. The square comes to life with the blues, rock, and soul of Tigre Blanco, perfectly complementing the atmosphere after a day full of spectacle on the route.

THEATER GELDROPSEWEG

At this square, you can relax with Just4Fun and enjoy their infectious unplugged music, along with the solid sound of Blusswerruk. Ideal for unwinding after the parade.

In short, Brabantsedag Heeze offers a day full of surprises and entertainment for the whole family. Don’t miss it and immerse yourself in the magical world of culture, music, and theater!
