Last week we were pleased and excited to announce that we had found an alternative interpretation for our Brabantsedag weekend. With The Biggest Theatre Kitchen of the Year, wagon builders could build a decor, create theater for visitors and meet each other. Because the togetherness that is so characteristic of our event should be cherished and secured. Because of the beautiful summer that the government promised us and the far-reaching relaxations, all the lights were on green for the launched alternative to the theater parade. Until last Friday.
We never thought that the space for event would be restricted again so soon. While the restrictions are in place through August 13, 2 weeks before our event, the design of the presented alternative requires the necessary preparation from our wagon builders and volunteers. Because of the uncertainty and preparations required for this concept, Stichting Brabantsedag has decided to cancel the event in its current form. This does not mean that the Theatre Kitchen is definitely off the agenda. The concept has been enthusiastically received and is too good not to be executed at another time. We are still considering a suitable moment in the future.
In the meantime we do not sit still! If the measures for events in mid-August are relaxed, we will make every effort to be able to meet, preferably in the last weekend of August or as soon as possible. A time for all concerned to look forward with each other. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether it will be possible. We will keep you informed!
Kind regards,
Stichting Brabantsedag
