As you can imagine, the Brabantsedag has high demands when it comes to safety: safety for the public before, during and after the parade and of course safety for our float builders and volunteers.
The safety committee coordinates many permit-technical matters during the preparation and advises other Brabantsedag committees in the field of safety. During the events themselves, there are always several committee members present and they work closely with the internal Brabantsedag organization, government services, emergency services and hired security personnel.
Tasks that are performed are: general supervision, host/hostess for our guests, coordination with all other services/rescuers, active deployment as an event traffic controller and control of permit aspects such as making noise measurements, supervision of alcohol use under the age of 18.
Our Safety Working Group is looking for men or women who also find this responsibility very important. We are looking for stress-resistant team players with a great sense of responsibility and natural superiority who want to commit themselves to the safe course of the Brabantsedag in a way that fits the character of the largest theater parade of the year. Because of the supervision and enforcement function, you are willing to follow a Social Hygiene course.
