Get in the Brabantsedag spirit, check the agenda

Sunday, August 27th is, of course, the grand theater parade. But before the last Sunday of August arrives, there is more to do. Get your agenda ready!

Saturday, August 19th

As a visitor, you may not be thinking about it yet, but the float builders have been hard at work for months. Do you want a preview of what the sixteen float-building groups are creating? Visit them during the Open Tent Tour (Saturday, August 19th, 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM). You can choose your own route. It's a unique behind-the-scenes look!
In the evening, the Children's Parade (7:00 PM) will move through the town center, with kids showcasing their skills in teamwork, design, and construction, just like real float builders.
Following that, the Opening Party will kick off in the Town Hall Garden with Wagenbouwers FM and the cover band Phoenix. The final preparations can begin!

Saturday, August 26th

The last weekend of August starts on Saturday, August 26th with the Children's Afternoon and Entertainment (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM). Children can enjoy activities such as pole climbing, bread baking, carpentry, face painting, and crafts. Brabantsedag ambassador Björn van der Doelen will provide live music in the afternoon and evening in the Theater Gemeentehuistuin. There will also be shows by Mad Science, street theater performances, and the opportunity to embark on a boat and submarine trip.
Stick around until the evening, as the Brabantse Nacht (Brabant Night) kicks off with the Status Quo Tribute Band Forever (8:45 PM), and the dance floor comes alive.

Sunday, August 27th

Then, on Sunday, August 27th, it's time for Brabantsedag. From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, there is a full program surrounding the grand theater parade. Along the route and at the Atmosphere Squares, there will be endless music and street theater. Starting at 12:30 PM, the pre-parade will pass by, followed by all the float-building groups from 1:30 PM onwards.
For over two hours, you will enjoy the theater floats and their total theater experience. They will surprise you with ingenious theories and brilliant inventions that you didn't know originated from the Duchy of Brabant.

The day traditionally concludes with the award ceremony (8:30 PM) in the Town Hall Garden.
