'Old' P2 is Still Too Wet
Parking Lot 2 Moves to Randweg
To avoid wet feet and mud baths, parking lot 2 will move this year from Leenderweg to Randweg. The signage will be adjusted accordingly.
In previous years, parking lot 2 was always located at Leenderweg. However, this field is unfortunately still too wet to safely park many cars without getting stuck in the mud. The top layer is firm, but just underneath, it’s still quite soggy.
Therefore, P2 is moving to Randweg. Fortunately, a farmer from Heeze was willing to cooperate with us, offering his field near the new residential area and even kindly mowed it earlier than planned.
Visitors parking at P2 will have to walk a little further, but at least without getting wet feet. Guus Berkers, board member of Facilities, Safety, and Permits at the Brabantsedag Foundation, says: "The distance is certainly greater than in the old situation, but it’s still manageable via Hendric Everslaan and Pastoor van der Voortlaan."
